M.G.R - Marudhur Gopalan Ramachandran, popularly known as MGR. He was an Indian Tamil film actor, producer, and politician and He also served as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu successively for three times.
He married three wives first wife Thangamani was divorced in 1942 , Second Sathanandavathi in 1962 and third Janaki in 1987. He won in Tamil Nadu state assembly election at 1975, 1980 and 1984 . He died on 24 December 1987 at 3:30 am in Chennai Apollo Hospital
In 1988 he receive the Bharata Ratna award after his death. He is the only Chief minister for all Tamil people.
